Feeling kinda bad for Suhr | SevenString.org But in terms of direct competition, basically the only guitar I could find was this Ibanez AZ. I think heel joint concerns sometimes get blown out of proportion, but if its something that matters to you, youll probably like the Ibanez better. I had always steered clear of C-type necks and then the Strat won me over when I actually tried it (supposed to be a modern C, not a vintage C). If theres any way you can play one, youll probably come close to doubling the cost, but if nothing else itll help you put the AZ into context.
